Kick-off meeting in Prague

Adult educators, trainers, managers and authors of five organisations in Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Greece, and Poland came together in Prague from 16th to 17th January 2025 to plan the two-year project activities. Among others, they encompass creating learning modules for a platform and an app.

Overcoming the gender power gap starts with awareness building, thus talking about the chances, challenges, and contexts.

The meeting helped to better understand the target groups of all partner organisations. The colleagues exchanged on the project topic, shared its interpretations, enjoyed a dense programme, efficient work and the humour in the group.

I have now a clear orientation on the project activities until 2026 and the next steps to do. It was lovely to feel the European spirit, the diversity of perceptions and opinions as well as the common ground who connects us.

Gender justice in times of change

People may say: We face that much problems, why caring for gender equality? Wars, economic crisis, the need for a change towards a social and ecological-friendly society require a clear focus on a just energy supply, peace, distribution of wealth, democracy. Yes! However, there is no democracy if the potential of all, women in particular, is neither seen nor put into practise. Let’s continue what generations before us already achieved.  🙂
